Pantai Pasir Perawan Pulau Pari

Setelah berhasil mengajak dua orang lainnya, akhirnya kami memutuskan jadi berangkat.
In a chat on social media, I tell to the forum that I will be free on Saturday night and will join any hangout invitation. Suddenly my traveler friend from Sawarna Backpacker contacted me and tell her idea to do spontaneous trip to Pari Island. We planned to spend the night in a tent and sleeping under the stars. We didn't do planning to rent a homestay because it requires booking in advance and moreover we are less prioritized than travel agents as their partner. For dinner, we planned to buy fresh fish caught by local fishermen for barbeque. Then after we get two more persons, we decided that the trip will be commenced.

Selamat datang di Pulau Pari // Welcome to Pari Island

We gathered at Muara Angke in Saturday morning, where I was the first one arrived there, then my friend came a few of much minutes later. They came late because they was tempted to buy fish at Angke market, but because it was expensive, we return to our plan. After all member completed, we boarded the boat to Thousand Islands. This boat was just like a bus that serve some islands without regulated route. That time, the sequence was Pramuka Island, Pari Island, then Tidung Island. Once we arrived at Pari Island, we had no idea what to do. Then we decided to take coffee at stalls nearby the dock, then the seller said this Island had two major destination, one side is LIPI beach (this island is a research island for birds, researched by National Science Board/LIPI), and another is Pasir Perawan Beach. After we took vote, we agreed to go to Pasir Perawan Beach.

At the beach, we saw so many facilities available. There were canoes, beach volleyball, beach huts, snorkeling, etc. Then we choose to snorkeling and canoeing at nearby water. The water here mainly sandy mangrove with the caution of stingray (that's why this island called Pari Island). At afternoon, I walk around the fisherman's village to find any fish. We were unfortunate that time because there was corporate party that buy all of fisherman's fish for that occasion. But then the fisherman offered the little coral fish caught by his little son at nearby water with very low prices. So we took it and find any barbeque stall for help cooking these fish. But the weather seems to be rain in the afternoon, so we were asking the barbeque seller if any rent house/room available. We were lucky that he has a relative that went for work for days and lend his house to us with also reasonable prices. What we didn't expect that it was indeed a house with full furnished unlike the rent room that was offered in this island. So that we at last had room and dinner, without travel agent, spontaneously. Lucky for us right?
